"Considerate and absolute committed team of people"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Surgical Elective Unit

(as the patient),

In mid June I went to the unit in Antrim Area Hospital for a laparascopic cholecystectomy to have my gallbladder removed and I would like to share my experience.

I met the most caring, compassionate, considerate and absolute committed team of people who took great care of myself from the time I was admitted until the day I was discharged.

I would like to add a special thankyou to a wonderful nurse lynda who knew just how nervous I was and she linked arms with me on my walk to the theatre and stayed by my side until I was ready to go in,and also nurse Jenny who took care great care of me through the night.

Unfortunately I can't remember everyone's name but they are truly wonderful nurses and doctors and made my experience much better than i could ever imagined.

Thankyou so much from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone of them..they all do a wonderful job of caring for their patients...pure Gold 💛
