"Staff were pleasant and explained everything"

About: Older people's services / Frailty Assessment unit

(as the patient),

Referred recently by GP & have visited the Frailty Unit twice in last 6 weeks.    From the moment of arrival, I was made welcome; there was no waiting time & no one batted an eyelid that my husband was with me.

Consultant Dr Cullen had familiarised herself with my Medical History so there was no need to explain why I was there  (she even made me coffee & arranged a Chest Xray on site to prevent a wait at the Hospital to which my GP had referred me).

Every member of staff whom I encountered was pleasant & explained everything. When blood pressure remained high, a 24 hour monitor was provided. The care, advice & ongoing treatment offered was excellent.

My sincere thanks to everyone concerned.

Dear Nana banana!

I will ensure that your lovely comments along with your and your husband's experience is shared with the Frailty Assessment Team and especially Dr Cullen, including that it was such a positive one.

The aim of the Team is to provide advice, care and treatment plans to support and offer guidance.

Kind regards

Sinead McDonald, Service Manager on behalf of FAU
