"Premature baby"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

We found out our son would be born early at 28 weeks, we were rushed to Craigavon maternity. We were in a whirlwind.

When our baby was born he was taken to neonatal and spent 8 weeks in the care of all the amazing doctors and nurses. He received the best care possible, not only medically but emotionally, he was looked after with such care and compassion. He always got a cuddle when needed and all staff were quick to act when he wasn't well.

As his parents, we also received the best care, whether it was kind words or a reassuring hug we were made to feel at home. There is nothing we can say to express our appreciation.

Thank you to all the staff of Craigavon Neo Natal. With special thanks to Elaine, Shelly and Jane for making a difficult journey feel a little less frightening.

Hello,

Many thanks for sharing feedback regarding your little ones time in neonatal. We are very pleased to hear that you all received great care during your stay and will pass your comments on to staff.

I am sure it was such a scary experience having your son born early and having to spend time in the unit but it is reassuring to receive your positive comments about staff easing the journey for you.

We wish you and your family all the best, enjoying life at home with your baby boy,

Thanks & Kind Regards,

Seanna
