"The staff were amazing"

About: Emergency Department / Minor Injuries University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I attended A&E as I had fell and badly hurt my ankle. Turns out I had broken it.

Although A&E was extremely busy the staff were amazing. From the receptionist to the nurses I really couldn't fault any of them. The care and compassion they showed was amazing. I can't imagine it being an easy job working in this department but the staff really made me feel cared for and nothing was a problem for them.

The radiographer who carried out my x-rays were also very kind and understanding and made me feel at ease.

Everyone is quick to complain but never quick to appreciate people who have well and truly above and beyond.

I wish I had got the staff members names as it would be nice for them to feel appreciated, but all I can say is thank you all.
