"I can't speak highly enough of them"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Malvern Neighbourhood Team

(as a relative),

My husband was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's and the team have been visiting me since. First, the physio came to have a look at the house and introduce us to things that could help in the house which she then ordered. Then the assistant came to fit the equipment as it arrived, for example things around the loos and his armchair has had lifters put in the seat which has made a vast difference.

Sarah, the physio, came back and basically taught my husband a series of exercises to help his movement and his stability because he had two bad falls just recently and he needed this. Sarah was firm but very kind and very helpful. She really is extremely good. Sarah is friendly and very pleasant and firm when teaching the exercises-she just a pleasure to have in my house, as is Ingrid. We had no idea these sort of services were available before this. I can’t speak too highly of them, they really have been very good.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of being treated by the Malvern Neighbourhood Team Physiotherapists. It is so good to hear about the positive impact they had on you both and your management of your condition.
