I attended day surgery at Hairmyres Hospital for an upper bowl and lower bowl examination meaning camera scope.

When I arrived was taken through to a room by a nurse who talked me through what was to happen, explaining everything about the treatment I was to have and making sure I understood and was at ease with everything.

When ready, I was taken through to the treatment room and was introduced to Dr Robertson and the team. They were fantastic making me feel comfortable and relaxed making sure I was OK and explaining everything to me.

After treatment I was taken through to recovery ward where I met Vicki one of the staff on duty that day. She was very friendly and helpful making sure I was OK and talked me through the results and explained everything to me. Very friendly atmosphere in the ward.

To sum up anyone who has to go there for treatment, you will be well looked after and they will make you feel comfortable and at ease.
