"Providing excellent care"

I was admitted to Ward C1 in Antrim Area Hospital recently for planned surgery with Dr Johnston.  

The care provided by the whole MDT in Ward C1 was exceptional. The staff were professional, helpful and compassionate and they could not do enough for me. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the ward, as a result of the domestic staff and health care assistants on day and night duty working hard to ensure all equipment and the hospital environment were sanitised.

On the day of my surgery, my anaesthetic and surgical pre-assessment and consent were taken by Dr Claina and Dr Adam who were reassuring and professional.  In Theatre, I was also in the safe hands by Dr Holland, Dr Johnston and the Theatre and Recovery Team.

Clinical Pharmacist Richard organised my take home medications and injections and was also very helpful during my admission. 

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the MDT teams in Ward C1, Theatres and Recovery for their exceptional care and attention. Keep up the great work!
