"You went beyond just care."

I attended my GP for a smear test.  It came to light that I still had a Mirena coil in which required removal as it had been in for 12 years.

The practice nurse tried and failed to remove the Mirena.  I was in pain and was asked to contact the Sexual Health Clinic at Ninewells.

I did this and was given an appointment for 30 May.

The staff were amazing.  The receptionist was efficient and friendly.  Then I met Dr Jo and Nurse Christine.  What a Team - they put me at my ease from the start ( i was anxious).  We laughed with banter and i felt they really cared. Thank you so much.

Dr Jo removed my Mirena while Christine held my hand and chatted.  

It couldn't have gone better and I want to say thanks you went beyond just care.
