"Grateful for Treatment"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I recently received a prostate cancer diagnosis, and I had a robot Radical Prostatectomy which went well and I'm now due out.

I am really surprised at the efficiency and care throughout the whole process. I have felt no pain - even after the op.

It's simply amazing - but I don't know who to thank? Is it Susan and Jasmine at my bedside?, Kelly on the nightshift?, the Chair of RBH? the CEO? the docs, the anaesthetists, - I can't even list all their names, far too many.

I am genuinely humbled and grateful.

Dear Mark572,

Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback. We are so pleased to hear that your procedure went well and was painless.

We will pass on your feedback to the Urology teams, which will include Jasmine, Kelly and Susan, and also share with our colleagues across the Trust, so it can then be read by all other people involved in your care, and the CEO, etc.

We wish you well and thank you again for your feedback.

Best wishes,
Patient Experience Team
