Since securing permanent accommodation on my own with my four children and not working at the moment I was struggling month to month to make it a home, with my youngest now 15 months old and health Visitor still regularly visiting, I was offered some help to allow the pressure of it all to slowly lift.
The buttle grant scheme was offered to me , providing furniture for kids rooms, allowing them to feel comfortable and organised within their space, laptop for the household where my children at school can use for their homework allowing them not to fall behind, I was also funded for garden toys for my girls and a selection of summer clothes , all of which I was allowed to pick ensuring their style matched.
The work the health visiting team done to make this happen was huge to me and I am and forever will be so grateful. The huge surprise throughout the funding was that I was funded a trip to a caravan park, I have never been in a position to take the kids away and make memories and filling them in on this surprise was emotional to see their faces light up with smiles.
If it wasn't for the health visiting team I would have never known about this funding I am so thankful to have been accepted for the help which has lifted an enormous amount of pressure off being Mum.
