"The staff treated him with the utmost dignity and respect"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward

(as a relative),

Took my nearly 90 year old to daisy hill today for an elective procedure. Arrived in the early morning hours as per instructions. Staff very welcoming on arrival and throughout the morning.

My father in law has hearing problems and short term memory loss but the staff treated him with the utmost dignity and respect. Staff nurse Tintu and student nurse Alana displayed exceptional professionalism to all the patients in the bay and communicated with me through out the morning.

It was great to see that effective communication care and compassion still exists in the NHS despite all the challenges and difficulties the staff face . Thank you
