Feedback for recent Gastroscopy procedure at NHS Tayside, Endoscopy Dept, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

I wish to convey my thanks and gratitude to all the staff who treated me so well, before, during and after the Gastroscopy procedure at the Endoscopy Dept, Ninewells Hospital Dundee. Staff names I remember were Kevin, Tamara, Marie, and James. Apologies to staff members whose names I don't recall.

Thank you for all your dedicated and considerate care. You make what is an anxious time for many people much easier. Your friendliness, expertise and dedicated interpersonal skills made me feel less anxious and were very much appreciated. I felt I was in very capable hands. Thank you.💕

Combined staff expertise, skills and technology were amazing. Kevin put me at ease by explaining the procedure in detail prior to going into the procedure room.

Once in the room Marie numbed my throat then she began the procedure which could be seen on a screen and with no pain felt at all. Tactile touches from Tamara who was my assigned carer registered as a reassuring comforting feeling, helping reduce my anxiety of the unknown throughout the procedure. All pain free and progressed over about 5 minutes then it was complete. James then explained the results, after care & followup before discharging me from the department.

The Admin, Receptionists, Medical Teams all integrate well, providing a consistent and excellent service, delivering super care by staff that were so nice and professional.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
