Self referred to the physio team following an injury - after the referral was processed and I was asked to ring and make an appt, I was sent a text with a link to an arthritis form which I was asked to complete. I was confused as I don’t have arthritis and had referred myself for a sports injury so I rang back and was informed that this arthritis questionnaire was sent to all physio patients to complete - when I queried this, I was informed that several people had been confused like me. I was told that because the questions had been devised by the arthritis team, that’s why it was called that.
What I don’t understand is why this form isn’t re-named if it really is for all physio patients? Surely that’s a quick fix and will stop all the confusion?
Oldham is always a difficult hospital to deal with and logic seems in short supply but I’m hoping this simple amendment can be done without needing a year like everything else does there.
