"Staff were polite and friendly"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as a service user),

After a failed attempt at an MRI in the mobile scanner at the back of the hospital I was given another appointment at the Lincoln CDC.

Both times staff were polite and friendly but the two staff down at the CDC scanner were amazing. Very caring about the reasons for my previous attempt failing. Explained exactly what was going to happen and checked multiple times that I was ok.

Oh and the CDC had ample free parking so that’s a bonus too.

Dear Daniel1928

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with our MRI service recently. I am sorry that you had not been able to have your MRI scan completed at Lincoln, however I am very pleased to hear that you found the Community Diagnostic Centre experience very good. This is a new service we are able to offer and the ample car parking means that patients are less stressed for their appointment, as they have not had to try and find parking spaces on the hospital sites as well.

I will pass on your comments regarding the care of the staff towards you to the teams as they will appreciate this feedback.

All the best

Matron Cathy
