"Thank you for the amazing care."

About: General practices in Tayside Ninewells Hospital / Clinical Investigation Unit

(as a service user),

Exemplary collaborative working across acute and primary care settings meant a fairly frail elderly lady experienced an amazing care journey in NHS Tayside today!

A big shout out to the Health Centre, Nursing staff and Consultant running the DVT clinic in Clinical Investigation Unit (CIU) and staff in the vascular lab at Ninewells Hospital. My Grandma  attended the clinic, had her bloods taken,  scan done, Consultant review and a safe discharge home all within 2 hours.

The staff were warm, welcoming and professional and took the time to ensure our relative was truly a part of the consultation. Every aspect of this service was person centred.

Thank you for the amazing care.

Dear Granny M's family member

Thank you for taking the time to share your very positive feedback about the joined-up care between primary and secondary care that took place to ensure your grandmother's healthcare journey was an efficient and effective one.

Feedback is very valuable to all areas of the NHS, and I'm sure the staff in your grandmother's GP practice will be delighted to hear that her experience there has been positive. Unfortunately, GP practices are not part of Care Opinion at this time, as each practice is an independent business. So that they can see your feedback, we would recommend that you feedback her experience directly to the practice to allow this to be passed on to the staff. The Practice Manager can give you with details of how to provide this feedback to them, as per their Complaints and Feedback Policy.

Thank you again for your lovely feedback.

With best wishes

Victoria Sullivan
