We had to take my 15mth old Grandson to the A & E dept on Saturday night and to say the place is in special measures I have to say it was filthy. The floor was absoluteley disgusting and we couldn't put him down on the floor. There was blood and poo on the floor and the toys were disgusting. If you were not that ill on arrival you would have been on way out. I was horrified. The heating was overpowering and the waiting time abysmal. The adult waiting room was no better although cooler was as dirty with litter all over the floor. I have to say i was appalled at the state and suggest the spot checking team take a peek in after 10pm on a Saturday night.
