My daughter, after a fall from a slide broke her distal humerus. From arrival at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, we were immediately assessed by nurse Emily who promptly asked Dr Robbie to review, they were both exceptional.
She was then quickly sent for X-ray where the radiography staff were kind and considerate, she was referred immediately to orthopaedics and reviewed by a lovely registrar.
She was taken to ward 3c and everyone we encountered were professional and kind, the porters were all friendly and helpful, the theatre and anaesthetic staff were all fabulous.
A special thanks to our orthopaedic consultant who operated and kept us updated beyond our expectations. I cannot thank everyone enough for the care, professionalism and kindness shown to my daughter and our family.
We are blessed to have you all working in the NHS.
