I went to the out of hours GP after contacting 111 for an ear infection. They saw me very quickly and prescribed me with medicine with no issues. But I was really impressed with my doctor as he also asked about the psoriasis (that I wasn't expecting to talk about that day) that was very clearly on my body and face and unknown to him has been stopping me from leaving my house and seeing friends since appearing a few months ago, it had also caused me to cut my own hair in attempt to deal with it on my scalp. I have had phone conversations with my normal GP, and medicines prescribed, however she would never see me in person and nothing was working. The doctor I saw on Sunday had a look at my psoriasis and prescribed a cream, he was very caring and could see it was a very sensitive issue for me. Well I have used the cream for 2 days and it is gone from my face! I can leave my house without feeling like I am being stared at and my skin is now healing. So I want to say thank you, I am unsure of his name, but he has quite literally changed my life, just by being compassionate, taking a look at my problem and giving me the correct treatment. He really is a credit to the NHS.
