"Don't think I've ever encountered such rudeness"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Visited Royal Devon and Exeter recently. I found the customer service from the member of staff working what I now know is the paediatric desk to be lacking, they did not hide their annoyances or respect personal space.

I walked up to the window smiled and as I said hello they visibly and loudly sighed. As I was about to ask where to go for ENT appointments, they spoke over me and in an annoyed tone said paediatric appointment.

I then tried to say no ENT and a hearing test. They told me to go down the room further to the other reception desk. So off we went. I arrived at desk and asked if that was the right place and this member of staff was starting to help me and find out where we were.

As I was trying to find the text of my appointment on my phone the first member of staff came up behind me and poked me in quick succession multiple times on my shoulder from behind me telling me to move around to the other side of the desk as I can't stand there muttering away about data protection.

Absolute poor behaviour from a person working in the patient care service industry

I just can't believe the treatment received  don't think I've ever encountered such rudeness.
