"So professional yet very caring"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Emergency Surgical Unit (EMSU)

(as the patient),

In 2021 i had investigations by my gp and then Mr Neely and bowel cancer was confirmed. As a young mother this was a terrifying time. I had major bowel surgery followed by chemo. I found Mr Neely's care excellent, he is so professional yet very caring. I had major surgery on a Monday afternoon and was discharged home on a Thursday morning.  Mr Neely is so thorough in his check ups and ensures that all tests are completed as part of my surveillance for reoccurrence. My family and i really cant thank Mr Neely enough.

Hi Fudgeruth

My name is Helen Davis and I work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in EmSU.

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us about your experience. I'm sure it was a very worrying time for you all.

I have passed on your lovely sentiments to Mr Neely and he is delighted that he was able to help and reassure you throughout your journey.

I hope that you have recovered well.

Kind regards

Helen
