"Lack of compassion"

About: Western General Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

Lack of compassion or care from reception staff.    Young guy in agony waiting to be seen not even offered a glass of water or painkillers, I had to give them to him.  Had to go and source water in the library.     Receptionist rude and acted like they couldn’t care less.

I am really sorry to hear of your experience while attended the Minor Injuries Unit, WGH. If you would like to get in touch with our Patient Experience Team with some further details, such as date and time of attendance, then I can look into this further.

thank you.
