"Bad communication "

We are sorry to hear about the experience you have had with our GP practice. We always work hard to improve our communication with patients; hence we provide regular customer care training to our practice staff. We usually provide routine appointments within 1-2 weeks. A limited number of same day emergency appointments are also available. The NHS has advised that we should work with local practices to provide additional GP appointments; these appointments are provided from Monday - Saturday at Belmont Health Centre. The local NHS also provides resources to other practices, such as the Pinn Medical Centre, to provide emergency GP appointments for other practices. The NHS has asked us to book appointments at these clinics especially when we are unable to provide you an appointment suitable to your needs. At times of high demand, such as when there are lot of sick patients contacting us, or during staff sickness, it may not be possible to accommodate all patients at the GP practice. The GP patient survey report from 2024 shows 86% describe their overall experience of this GP practice as good and hence we are sorry that we you were disappointed with our service. We strive to provide a range of appointments to suit our patients’ needs and have increased the number of appointments we provide.
