"Kind and reassuring"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Northern Ireland Specialist Transport and Retrieval (NISTAR)

(as a parent/guardian),

My 3 week old son was transferred by Vicky one of the NISTAR nurses from the Royal to Altnagelvin Hospital. I was nervous about the transfer but Vicky was very kind and reassuring. I was able to travel in the ambulance and felt so safe & my baby slept the entire journey & was very content! The journey was quick & went smoothly and the driver took care to get us all there safely. I cannot thank the ambulance driver & Vicky enough for looking after me & my son.

Dear Catriona5,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on the service provided by NISTAR when your son was transferred back to Altnagelvin Hospital. I am delighted that Vicky has been able to help and reassure you through the care provided to your son. We are very proud of all our teams and the excellent work they do each day. I have passed on your kind words to Vicky I hope your son is doing much better now.
