"We have been provided with support and comfort"

About: Kilbryde Hospice / Inpatient Care

(as a relative),

My Dad was admitted to Kilbryde Hospice in late April and is still undergoing care.

Since the day he was admitted, all of the staff have ensured that not only was my dad comfortable and provided with the best care possible, they have taken the time to learn more about the family and provided us all with support and comfort.

I honestly can't praise the hospice team enough and can only thank them for their continued positivity and good humour under extremely difficult circumstances.

My dad has also found great comfort in the spiritual support offered at the hospice, especially Sister Sophie who manages to bring a sense of calm to my dad when he is struggling most. I also must thank Amanda and the team at the front desk who welcome us and our dog Mac like family. You are all truly inspirational.

Hi Paul-Mc, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a beautiful post. It is very reassuring to know that we as a whole team here at Kilbryde Hospice are supporting your dad and all your family's needs. It is wonderful that you and your family (including Mac the dog) feel so welcomed on arrival as that is what we aim to do. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated team here to help support and provide the many services we offer and I will feed this back to all the staff which will help to reinforce the positive differences they make day in and day out.

Your dad has an amazing sense of humour and is a larger than life character and makes the staff laugh often. It is an absolute privilege to be able to care for him and all of your family in the most difficult of circumstances. If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Again, thank you most sincerely,

Anne Hennessy and the team at Kilbryde Hospice
