"I was cared for so well by the hospital staff"

Fell pregnant through IVF in September which we were delighted about. I have had reduced movements and was cared for so well by the hospital staff.

When going for a growth scan I was taken care of my Dr Allison at the Victoria Hosptial in Kirkcaldy who was fantastic. I also went for weekly checkups for CTG's looked after so well by Lori, Janice and Lori's shift manager. I can't thank them enough for their empathy and care. I was advised to be induced early. When I went in it felt like private health care, the midwives - Sara, Beth, Harriet, Ashleigh, Sammy where outstanding and made me feel so at ease as it was a difficult journey for us.

When things progressed I was looked after my Laura and Judith at the later stages of my journey. They were fantastic, I should also mention Nicola who just made things so relaxed and even joined in a quick quiz with my husband and I!

Once the decision was made for me to have a section I was greeted by the surgeon who was amazing and Hannah the anesthesiologist who was just fantastic at keeping me relaxed and also having a laugh with me at the same time which is what I like.

All the surgery stuff were 2nd to none! Our little baby was born in the early hours and I couldn't be more over joyed! Thank you maternity unit fife for the fantastic care!
