"13 hours sat in a chair"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

I'll start with the nice part, the nurses who we dealt with were lovely and tried their hardest.

But my partner was waiting 13 hours being moved around waiting for a bed after being told he had to have an emergency operation for septic arthritis in his arm. He was in pain and this is totally unacceptable!!

Along with this we had 5 people with serious mental health issues screaming at us, swearing, and 1 of the stood staring at us wanting to start a fight. There was 1 man following the guy but nothing to stop him intimidating us. We felt extremely anxious and moved seats numerous times because we were getting shouted at. It has now been 26 hours and my partner is still waiting for the operation that they said was critical. It's so unfair to put people in these situations when they are already feeling horrendous. Please sort out security to help normal people attending the hospital and have a separate area for people with severe mental health issues.
