"The care was phenomenal"

About: South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance Stoke Mandeville Hospital / General surgery Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to SMH 3 weeks ago via ambulance where by I accidentally stood barefoot on an empty tuna tin. I cut my foot badly and was in agony.

Everyone from the paramedics, the nurses (specifically Ann and Simona in ward 16) were amazing. The care was phenomenal and the staff before, during and after surgery were all brilliant.

Thank you to everyone for making such a traumatic experience a little more comfortable.
