After 50 mins on the phone the wife finally got through, took her down and waited for her in the carpark, done this many times before, maybe my wifes fault for not paying attention but you now apparently need a permit, so £60 fine today for 20 mins, thanks a lot, be aware if you don't know.

Dear Daz
We are sorry to hear of your experience whilst using our car park for your visit to the surgery with your wife.
We have had the car park managed by an outside company for the last 3 years due to being close to the town centre and the general public using it as a free car park and reducing the parking for our patients. There are signs situated both around the car park and as you walk through the entrance, so I apologise if you didn't see them.
Hopefully you responded to the PCN to advise you were visiting as a patient and this was resolved.
