"We both feel empowered to cope with issues in the future"

About: CAMHS (Outpatient Services) / CAMHS Response Team

(as a parent/guardian),

I discovered my daughter took paracetamol during the night. Took her straight to A&E, she was checked over.

We then met the CAMHS team. They spoke with us and arranged a further meeting. As a mum I had a complete range of emotions, mostly shock to begin with. My daughter couldn't say why to begin with.

After meeting with Anais she opened up about how she was feeling and slowly her mood seemed to improve. A lot of my daughter's issues and anxieties were connected with school.

Anais arranged a meeting at the school with myself and the school staff. Strategies were set up. Things are a lot better. We both feel empowered to cope with issues in the future.

Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback the positive experience you and your daughter have had with our CAMHS response team.

I will pass on your kind message with the team, who I am sure will be very grateful for you taking the time to share your experience.

I am glad you daughter is receiving the help she needs, and thankfully she is feeling better.
