"Autistic son and incontinence"

About: Children & younger people's services / Continence Team (CYP)

(as a parent/guardian),

Referred by pediatrician due to son still not being toilet trained by age 4 felt happy to be getting some support and products as the financial cost takes it toll.

After a few appointments it was decided my son was eligible for products and we now get a delivery every 3 months, 3 big boxes! Roughly 4 pull ups a day!

I have regular check ins with my sons continence lady and she is very supportive and has suggested several strategies to help but there is never any pressure and she always makes it known that small steps is also fantastic improvement
