I have had numerous poor experiences with Tower. The most recent being yesterday, rang at 8am, frustrating listening to all the messages when I just want to speak to someone. Accepted the offer of a callback, 98 in the queue!!! Finally got my callback to be told “sorry no appointments available today you need to ring at 8am” 🤬. The receptionist advised - Try the pharmacy, Ring 111, Ring the out of hours tomorrow 🤷🏼♀️. Out of hours doctors do not have access to your medical records so are quite often unable to help 😡. Tottington used to be a great surgery, very personal, friendly, knowledgeable about their patients, not anymore, now you have to get through the ‘trained’ reception team 🤦🏼♀️ the medically UNTRAINEd reception team who get to decide whether your request is urgent or NOn-urgent.
