From the moment we entered St Andrews Hospice, the warmth of all staff made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much for them, regular check ins from staff for mum and the family. It's difficult to put into words just how much those 10 days meant to us. The words "it's time for you to let us do the caring" still reduces me to tears as we had been unable to do normal daughter duties due to the caring roles we had to undertake. The level of care was outstanding and in the real world what everyone should have. It's truly an amazing place and we still visit the Dove cafe when in the area. Can't praise everyone enough for all their help and support x

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a comment about our service. I am sorry to hear about your Mum and I hope that you and your family are coping with such a difficult loss.

It is lovely to hear that you found our staff to be warm and welcoming and that you were able to focus on being a daughter again. It is clear that these last 10 days have meant a lot to you and your family. I hope that you were able to create special memories during this time. I am so glad to hear that you feel able to come back to the Hospice and the Cafe when nearby.

As a result of you sharing your comment, I have reflected on how important a warm, caring and supportive welcome is. I will share your feedback with the team and encourage them to continue and to develop this excellent approach.
