"Robotic hysterectomy"

I was admitted to Day Surgery for a Robotic hysterectomy under the care of Ms Sokalova. Every member of staff that I met were wonderful, very caring, professional and put me at ease. It’s quite a daunting operation and I was quite tearful walking into theatre 9, but the nursing staff, doctors and anaesthetist could not have been more caring and calmed me down. The staff in post op were equally wonderful and Ms Sokalova was so lovely afterwards, reassuring that everything went as planned. With her expertise and calm manner she is leading the way in Ayrshire on how the treatment of hysterectomy has evolved. I was home within 4 hours of having surgery and recovering well. Everyone was a credit to the NHS, exactly how it should be.
