(as a relative),

My husband has been fortunate to have benefitted from Hospital at Home service on 3 occasions recently. I can only praise the care given, the professionalism of the staff and their determination to keep him from being admitted to hospital, which is his wish.

On each occasion they have spent time answering his needs and tailoring the treatment to meet these needs. They carry out their work with courtesy and respect and it has been invaluable for both of us.

This is a service well worth being heavily resourced.

To hear that we have prevented admission to hospital on 3 occasions highlights how vital the team is for people with chronic conditions. At all times we will spend time discussing plans of treatment with patients and family and tailor treatment to each individuals needs.

The team on occasions have not been able to prevent hospital admissions but in your case we did.

I will pass on your feedback to all the staff and rest assured we at all times will take into consideration the needs and wishes of patients.
