"Grateful for the kindness and care for ovarian cancer"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Gynaecology Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in August 2023 after delay. Chemo did not start till October and after 6 cycles, surgery at City hospital.

My surgeon Mr Wormald was absolutely brilliant, regularly checking on my progress. Have been home 2 months now and feeling so much stronger with more energy and optimism.

I have one more chemo to go, then maybe oral medication according to my oncologist. So grateful for the wonderful staff being so kind and helpful.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for submitting this feedback on your experience within our hospitals

I will of course pass these compliments on to the department and Dr W now so that it can be shared within the team.

Best wishes,
