"Patient journey"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Neurology Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

21st May ~ Hollybank, staff that directly cared for you introduced themselves.

Staff Nurse Becky is very jolly and friendly, just what you want when anxious about a procedure.

Staff Nurse Katrina briefly cared for me, I found her very professional.

Tracey (porter or nursing assistant) who escorted me to Theatre was very caring and compassionate.

Nursing Assistant ?Esther (wasn’t directly caring for me) however she ensured my dignity as my gown wasn’t fastened properly and ensured I was well hydrated after procedure.

Mr Saeed Neurologist is very attentive and caring, he liaised with his secretary to get me in super quick for my procedure.

All theatre staff were professional and kind. I visited the X-ray department the day prior, Chris was caring, knowledgeable and maintained my dignity all whilst teaching an Apprentice.

Thank you all.
