"Brilliant support at home after a road accident"

I was admitted to the QE following a road accident in which I sustained life threatening injuries. In preparation for my discharge the hospital OT liaised with the neighbourhood team, who quickly visited my home to see what Sid’s and equipment I would need.

Everything was quickly put in place and I was discharged home. My OT has been absolutely brilliant, she has been in regular contact, either by a home visit or telephone call, checking if I needed anything else and how I was doing.

Without her help and support to me and my family I wouldn’t have been able to continue with my recovery at home.
