About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as a service user),

I have been amazed and humbled as to all the help and assistance the community stroke team have given me.

I was initially overwhelmed by what has happened to me and the care, support and advice (which is still ongoing) has been invaluable to help me on the road to recovery.

I especially value the open ended approached to this support as I soon realised that the recovery journey isn't an easy one.

We appreciate how challenging life can be following a stroke for both the stroke survivor and their loved ones. I'm glad that the team were able to support you and are continuing to do so. This is wonderful feedback and I will ensure that the team received this praise.
