I was at the SDUCC at the QEUH in Glasgow. I had a very tight chest & breathing difficulties so my GP sent me there.
I was called up for some tests & had to walk through the hallway & past an exit to outside some double doors - I couldn’t believe how much smoke was coming into the hospital through the exit doors.
For someone who was admitted because of breathing difficulties that is the last thing they needed but it would have been not nice for anyone. Smoke, weed, vapes in a huge cloud - it was completely overpowering.
As a patient it was unacceptable but I also feel for the staff working there either & breathing it in every. People should not be allowed to smoke outside those doors.
