About: University Hospital Ayr / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

First class person centred service from all staff involved in my husbands short experience.

All staff listened and took cognisance of his own experience and knowledge of his acute exacerbation of a chronic condition.

As a result, my husband was seen in ED, transferred to the admissions ward and seen almost immediately by the appropriate specialist. He received the correct treatment which allowed him to be discharged with follow up within 4 hours.
