"Great support, they are always there"

Alcohol dependant since school - One Recovery helped me to go from two bottles of 14.5% wine a day (sometimes more) to one small glass of 6.5% vol wine mixed tap water! I can now leave a drink half drunk, never done that before! I feel so much better, especially in the mornings. My memory is coming back. My depression and anxiety is better. I have more confidence. I am in much better health. Some weight loss. Better relationships. More freedom as alcohol is not controlling my day anymore. And a lot of money saved!

Great support. One Recovery are always there. Contact isn't just for when a meeting is booked. You can message between meetings if struggling. Meetings can be via Teams or 1:1, face to face. Excellent service. Some great tools to use to aid recovery. Staff are lovely to speak to. They do not judge you.

I really thought I would not be able to do this because alcohol was my life for over 44 years. Hence why I had never sought help before. I can not explain how it feels as you have to go through it to get there, but it is well worth it. When people say "if I can do it, you can do it" well this is the one and only time I believe it...because it's true!
