I was in the emergency department today for my 4 year old son and I was very impressed with the whole experience. We are not from the area but the lady who checked us in was welcoming and told us what to expect next. The waiting area was clean and smart looking. Another gentleman then took some more details and said it wouldn’t be long. It wasn’t busy. We were only waiting another 15 minutes or so before being called in by the doctor.

We saw a GP who was very pleasant. He listened, did a thorough examination, explained everything well and prescribed my son with the antibiotics he needed. I found his manner professional, efficient and he had a caring nature. It’s probably the best experience I’ve had from an A&E department.
