My daughter had injured her wrist. She was screaming in pain at home at tea time. Unsure of what to do I contacted NHS 24 and was given a minor injuries appointment for that evening.
We attended at the appointed time and were taken to see the nurse practitioner (Margie) within ten minutes. Margie was lovely - lovely warm manner with my daughter, very reassuring with myself and fully explained everything.
She requested an Xray for my daughter and this was done very quickly by the lovely Xray department.
Back in to see Margie - confirming my daughter had a buckle fracture. Again Margie was great at explaining everything and spoke to my daughter at a level she would understand.
She provided us with excellent written information and details of who to contact if there are nay further issues.
Back out the door speedily within 1.5hours. Top service!
"Top service!"
