"Made a difficult time that bit better for us."

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

After sadly having a miscarriage, visited the EPAS for further scans and treatment. Required to have a procedure the following day.  Everything was clearly explained to us and we were supported by all the staff we encountered.

The midwife supporting us on the day (Emma) was great - knowledgeable at her job, always there to answer any questions we had and showed compassion throughout everything, as did the consultant for the procedure.  Made a difficult time that bit better for us.

Dear Annabananaoat14

Firstly I am sorry to hear of your miscarriage. This is not an easy time for you and the fact that you took the time to write to us is even more meaningful to us.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I will make sure your message is passed on to the team that provided your care which I know they will appreciate.

I wish you the best of health for the future and thank you again for getting in touch

Best wishes

Attica
