About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was admitted to the Children’s Ward. All of the staff: Nurses, ANP, Consultant, Healthcare Assistants, Cleaner were amazing.

The care my son received was first class from everyone, absolutely everyone.

A special mention to one of the Nurses, Paul, who was phenomenal. He very quickly established trust with my son and supported him in everything. We were gutted when he was on his days off.

Thank you very much for leaving such lovely feedback following your son's recent stay in our childrens' ward. I am delighted to read that you felt the full team created such a welcoming and comforting stay. It can be a very nervous and anxious time for our young people when they require a hospital stay and our team always do try their best to support our families in these circumstances. I will be sure to share your lovely feedback with the team, and Paul in particular.
