I was recently admitted overnight to ward 31A at the Royal Alexandra Hospital from hyperemesis and dehydration.
Went through triage, which was quick and simple, from the student nurse to the midwives who saw to me were so professional, bubbly, enthusiastic and really put me at ease feeling so unwell.
Was transferred to the ward just before nightshift came on and from the HSCW (I forgot your name but you just showed such passion for your job and so smiley!), the cleaner who came in with a smile and some chat, and ofc the amazing midwives Victoria and Emma - the care you delivered, the hints and tips for a first time mum and your demeanour putting me at ease. As a fellow NHS worker all I can say is this service is gem in the RAH!!
P s. Thanks to the midwife who advised skips! It's been a godsend the last couple of hours as the sickness slips in!!
"A phenomenal team!"
