"Amazing team"

About: Adult mental health / Mid Hampshire CMHT

(as a service user),

I had been under Romsey CMHT for the last 6ish years, I could ramble on about the fantastic care I received, however, in reality they propped me up during my worse times, times when I pushed them away, alcohol addiction, stubbornness, plain unwillingness to entertain their advice. Luckily in time, with their help and guidance I was discharged. Not saying I am out of the woods as I’m off to rehab now, but I cannot thank the wonderful team in Romsey, nor can my family as I’m not sure without the constant help, my children would have a mum.

I am the consultant for the Mid Hampshire Urgent Community Response service. Looking after individuals at home instead of hospital when it is safe to do so.

Thank you so much for sending you us your story.

I was overwhelmed with the story and I really do thank you for that. I will make sure that this is seen by the team and they get to know your words and the impact it has had on your journey.

I really do want to wish you all the best in your recovery. Its never a straight line as you indicate but what an encouraging impact these early steps will have made for both you and your family.

We all wish you and your family the very best.
