"Nant y glyn lack of care and lack of professionalism"

In February I was struggling with my mental health I reached out to my community mental health care provider and made an appointment. Less than 24 hours before the appointment I was told my appointment is cancelled (which is very common) then I was told my psychiatrist has left and I won’t be able to receive any help and to wait until a new psychiatrist would join to take on the leftover patients I was told it could be years. This was devastating the one place I’m supposed to receive help won’t help. I was told there spaces but only for emergency’s to see the psychiatrist.

Months past the struggle grew more and more I called them to request an appointment as my condition has turned into an emergency yet once again I was told “nobody can help you “ and recommended to see my gp for an emergency referral . I did this the first referral was ignored regardless how many time I called nant y glyn. I received a 2 nd referral got a call saying I’m going to get an appointment and help and to wait for a call in the next day or 2 .

The days past no call I call again and informed I was never going to get called back or receive an appointment. I try to see the gp again they send another referral this time I got called said I was going to receive help yet 3 weeks past and nothing was heard from nant y glyn . I’ve been avoiding showering ,using the machine machine and hoovering as I’m scared I will miss the call and won’t receive help and it will be my fault . I call again hear the same thing I explain I’m a danger to myself but they still won’t provide me with an appointment or any help and the. Person ends the call.

Since then I’ve tried to call many times yet the lines are busy and the line will cut off if you’re waiting for more than half an hour making you start in the waiting line again . This is extremely frustrating and I tend to avoid calling now because I know when I try to seek help and don’t receive any my mental health is extremely worse. I call today to get an update only to be told she’s with a patient and it’s an emergency which I understand but what I don’t understand is why patients have priority in an emergency some rather than others. Nant y gyln recommend me speaking to 111 for help yet I’m told to speak to community mental health and community meathl health tell me to go to the gp. I’ve been stuck in this cycle for months it’s unbearable I’ve had to deal with serious situations because of the affects of no help by myself. I don’t see a point in living if the only people that can help me refuse to .
