"Excellent care given during immunisations"

About: Coatbridge Locality Support Service / Treatment Room

(as a parent/guardian),

I turned up for my daughter's last set of immunisations and there were two nurses that delivered the immunisations at the same time. I was very pleased to see that there was two nurses again as the last two times I had visited there had only been one allocated.

I find that having two nurses speeds up the process and reduces the stress and pain that my baby and other babies have to endure whilst receiving the immunisations. Additionally it reduced my anxiety around having to have two separate immunisations given one after another. I also believe it is safer to have two nurses on hand to check the medications and administer the medication safely.

Both nurses were very kind, personable and explained everything clearly. Hopefully having two nurses allocated for immunisations continues as this would improve experiences for both parents and their babies.

Dear GH1991,

Thank you for taking time to write a lovely comment on your experience with your child at Immunisations. Our service strives to make this as easy as possible for both child and parent and our nurses are well experienced in immunisations.

Best Wishes
