"Felt completely relaxed & my birthing plan was respected"

I just wanted to share my positive experience of NHS Fife's homebirth team.

Since falling pregnant in summer last year I have been under the care of the Fife homebirth team for the second time and they have been wonderful on both occasions! They carried out all of my midwife appointments at home which made trying to juggle being pregnant with a toddler in tow and no car so much easier!

The team is small with only 4 members and in my experience, they each work incredibly hard to ensure that every mum under their care feels valued & listened to. I recently gave birth at home and the care I received was outstanding, I felt completely relaxed & my birthing plan was respected at all times without me needing to ask for anything! The team are an invaluable resource & I cannot thank them enough!
